One of our amazing volunteers is celebrating his 80th birthday this month, and as part of the celebration, wanted to ask for donations to CDDC. He's not much on the socials, so requested that we post on his behalf.

You can donate by scanning the QR code or using the shortlink https://bit.ly/Tim4cddc.

Thanks for being born, Tim! We appreciate all you do for CDDC and your Corvallis community. Happy birthday! 🎂

Come and see the Good Sam med bus today from 10am-2pm. Plan to come sooner rather than later if you need services; sometimes the bus leaves early if they don't have anyone coming to see them.

Check in at the front desk to be seen.

Hey Corvallis, recently some of our guests have been concerned about the health of some other very vulnerable people in our community. Donations of nutritional supplement drinks are SUPER appreciated as a way to help get these very vulnerable folks some extra calories and nutrients. While a great thought, things like protein bars are generally not preferred, as they can be hard to chew, depending on oral health.

In general, especially as the weather heats up, we could also use things like electrolyte packs, sports drinks, and bottled water to hand out as well. Tea, hot cocoa, and ground coffee are always appreciated year-round.

All food and supplement donations must be unopened to comply with FDA food safety guidelines.

Donations can be brought to the Center during our hours of operation: Weekdays 9am-2pm. 559 NW 4th St, Corvallis, OR

Thank you all for the community care 💛

Our med bus is here today! Check in at the center to receive medical care. Can't make today? Our next scheduled med bus days are Thursday May 14th and Tuesday May 26th.

We made a typo in some of our earlier posts. The med bus is provided by Good Samaritan not Benton County. Apologies for any confusion!

More art! The CDDC display "New Homes not New Jails" is only up at Footwise until the end up the month, so go check it out and appreciate some of the amazing work created by our center guests. Some of the work is even available for sale, so if something speaks to you, let us know! Any art purchased goes directly into the hands of the artist, immediately supporting a vulnerable human 💛

Check it out! The Corvallis Daytime Drop-in Center presents: New Homes not New Jails. This art exhibit created and curated by guests at the Corvallis Daytime Drop-in Center will be up in the window display of Footwise downtown! It's only a sneak peak of the art on display, go check it out yourself for the full effect.

Want to see more? There is also some CDDC guest artwork on display at the public library, and our Healing Arts Program coordinator has more planned for the future!

Want this art in your window display or gallery? reach out to [email protected] to talk more details.

We have need of a few odds and ends! Combs, hairbrushes, hair picks, fingernail clippers, nail files, shoe laces, reading glasses, hydrogen peroxide and other basic first aid items are all things that have been recently requested in higher amounts by our guests. Other things not listed in the graphic include dog food bowls and men's shoes size 10 or higher. Sizes 12 and 13 are often in very high demand.

We can almost always use more ceramic mugs and bowls, as they often break or wander away from us due to the daily use they receive.

Art supplies have been requested by our Healing Arts Program coordinator, Isobel! Pretty much any kind of art supplies are awesome, but she has been running low on paints, paintbrushes (especially the small ones), canvases and chalk.

Thanks for all your help, Corvallis! 💛

What an amazing community business to be opening! Free laundry Dec 22- Jan 4th đŸ«§

✹ Big news — Adam’s Washeteria is FINALLY officially opening on December 22! ✹

We know this time of year can stretch anyone’s budget, so we’re kicking things off with a little generosity and a lot of clean clothes. From December 22 through January 4, self-serve laundry at Adam’s is FREE. No strings. No fine print. Just clean laundry without the holiday squeeze.

We’re also launching our very own laundry app, and to celebrate, we’ll match every dollar you add to it, $1 for $1, up to $100. Load $20 and you’ll have $40 to work with. It’s our way of investing in the community we’re excited to be part of.

Once set up, our app lets you:
đŸ§ș Check washer and dryer availability before you head over
⏱ Track how much time is left on your loads
🚗 Plan your trip so you’re in and out—dirty to clean (not folded)—in about an hour

Oh, and we’re not your average laundromat. We use ozonated water, which is better for your clothes and the environment while sanitizing and eliminating tough smells—even w**d funk or campfire smoke.

We’ve got everything from standard washers to absolutely gargantuan machines that can handle comforters, sleeping bags, dog beds—you name it. And coming in January, we will offer wash-dry-fold laundry services and dry cleaning drop off. And then in the spring/summer, we will offer horse blanket washing - yep, you heard that right!

We will be open daily from 7am to 11pm, with the last wash at 10pm. Come check out Corvallis’s newest (and most fun) Washeteria. We can’t wait to meet you, clean up your laundry game, and make laundry day something you actually don’t dread. 😉

Adam’s Washeteria: like a laundromat but a whole lot better and way more fun.

5246 SW Philomath Blvd - to the left of the Safeway on Philomath Blvd at 53rd - look for the giant LAUNDRY sign!
