Corvallis Sister Cities Association - Uzhhorod Uzhhorod is selling flower baskets this month. They are gorgeous baskets from Peoria Gardens. The money we make from this project allows us to bring delegations to Corvallis and to initiate and fulfull projects in Uzhhorod for the citizens of Uzhhorod and the Internally displaced people who have retreated from their war torn home to a safer city in their country. You can order on line at sistercities.corvallis.or.us then follow the Uzhhorod link. Deadline to order is April 26th. Delivery is May 8th, the Wednesday before Mother's Day. A great gift for Mom.

Fenced part of our yard last summer and got some temporary gates up. Our dear neighbors came visiting the morning! AGH!!!! I love the Dear neighbors and I love gardening! What to do? Egh!

I need Help! I have signed up to walk "The Woods" for the Spring Food Drive. I would love to have a buddy or two to help. We pass out the bags next week April 9 through the 13th. We pick up food on Saturday the 14th which takes longer and is really more fun as you get to meet people as you knock for food. I would enjoy your company and help! Thanks in advance

I am reminded by the occupy wall street movement that many of us are shifting our money to small local banks and credit unions. I personally do business locally except my home loan and was sad recently to see our loan was sold to Chase. AGH!!! Also, there are many people out there that have their loans with B of A already and because of changed situations cannot refinance with B of A or other bank. Then the only recourse is to try to get B of A to restructure their loan. I am not selling B of A as a bank. I just want people to know their options. Please share the information below with those you know that may be in trouble financially. And all my best.
