As we fall back this weekend, take a moment to spring into action: change the batteries in your smoke detectors. It’s a small task that can make a life-saving difference.

🔥 Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire by half.
✅ Test them monthly.
✅ Replace batteries twice a year.
✅ Replace the entire unit every 10 years.

Let’s keep our homes and families safe — one beep at a time.

Update at 11:55 AM fire has been located and extinguished.

Update at 11:42 AM the fire is located south of Hardin Hideout on FM 350 by the railroad crossing. A tree has fallen on the powerlines causing the fire.
