FBISD is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable drone teacher to guide students in flight basics, safety, hands-on operations, and real-world drone applications. Ideal candidates have drone experience, enjoy working with students, and can make learning fun and engaging.

Teaching drones combines technology, creativity, and hands-on learning to prepare students for real-world careers. Students gain skills in flight control, safety, problem-solving, and aerial imaging while exploring applications in fields like photography, engineering, agriculture, and public safety. Drone education makes STEM engaging and gives students valuable experience with cutting-edge technology.

Drone Certification preferred!

Due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions, Flour Bluff ISD will cancel all Summer School programs, activities, athletic events, Boys & Girls club, and the Summer Meals Program on Tuesday, June 16.

The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority.

District staff will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates regarding Wednesday’s programs and activities as information becomes available.

We encourage all families to continue monitoring district communication channels for updates.

Time is running out! ⏰ Today is the last day to apply for a 2026 Hornet Legacy Foundation Grant!

Do you have an idea, project, resource, or learning experience that could make a difference for your students? Whether it’s a small classroom need or a larger campus initiative, the Hornet Legacy Foundation wants to help bring your vision to life.

The application process is simple, supportive, and designed for all staff. Your idea doesn’t have to be perfect, and estimated costs are welcome. If it benefits students and falls outside the district budget, this could be your opportunity to make it happen!

🌞 Summer meals are back at Flour Bluff ISD!

Free Summer Meals are available for all individuals 18 years and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.

Join us at the Flour Bluff High School Cafeteria June 1 – July 24 for breakfast and lunch all summer long.

🍳 Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
🥪 Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Come eat, recharge, and enjoy summer!

While summer break is underway, Bond 2025 projects are in full swing across Flour Bluff ISD! 🏗️

From classroom technology upgrades and new flooring to HVAC replacements, parking lot expansion, safety improvements, and athletic facility enhancements, these projects are helping create modern, safe, and innovative learning environments for our students and staff.

These improvements reflect our community's investment in the future of Flour Bluff ISD and our commitment to providing high-quality educational spaces for years to come.

The Flour Bluff ISD Education Foundation made history as the first non-profit ever accepted into the Doing Business With Giants program hosted by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Through this competitive, hands-on professional development series at the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center, the Foundation completed all required sessions and earned a $5,000 grant.

This funding will go directly back to supporting the Foundation’s mission of enhancing opportunities for Flour Bluff ISD students.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone achievement!
