Very early in my first term, I had the opportunity to attend a week long class put on by the Secret Service in Hoover, Alabama. I spent an intense week with judges from around the country learning about the ins and outs of computer technology and the constitutional principles of digital searches and seizures and the unique challenges presented by them. We even have regular webinars to discuss updates in caselaw.
