Public Service Announcement – Low or No Water Pressure

Residents and businesses from Grant all west and from 5th Street to 14th Street along with surrounding areas may experience low water pressure or no water on Thursday from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The City has a contractor in town installing new water valves and replacing some older valves. This work will help the City better isolate sections of the water system during future leaks or water breaks, which should help reduce the number of customers affected during future repairs.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this important improvement work is completed.

⚠️ Water outages⚠️
Contractors are replacing water valves.. this was expected to cause only localized low water pressure. However, the Town has received reports of water outages affecting a much larger area than anticipated.
Crews are actively working to identify the issue and restore water service as quickly as possible.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while repairs are being completed.

To assist citizens with keeping their properties well maintained and clean, the City of Cordell will be offering a Spring cleanup the week of May 26th – May 29th, 2026. WEATHER PERMITTING. To be included in the cleanup you must complete this form (https://cityofcordell.com/documents/145/Spring-Fall_Cleanup_Form_Spring_26.pdf). If completing the form via the www.cityofcordell.com website, please email completed form to [email protected]. All forms must be received by 5pm on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 to be included in the pickup.
