Most pastors I talk to have never heard of this place, and it might be one of the best-kept secrets in Houston.
The Lanier Theological Library was built as a place to study Scripture, theology, and church history. More than 120,000 volumes, a Dead Sea Scroll fragment, an incredible C.S. Lewis collection, and quiet spaces designed for study and reflection.
What I love most is why it exists. Mark Lanier could have built almost anything. He chose to build something that serves the Church.
Pastor, sometimes you don't need another resource. You need a quiet place to study, think, and breathe.
If you're ever in Houston, put this one on your list.
I'm Justin Trapp, and this is Ministry Minute.
