Raiders' Archery - East Burke Middle

Raiders' Archery Team participates in NASP and practices Olympic style archery shooting. We compete with others schools across the Nation.

Our goal is to enhance students learning, while teaching focus, self-control and discipline.

On March 28, 2026, EBMS participated in the North Carolina State 3D Archery Tournament this weekend at the Burke County Fairgrounds, and are NC State Champions!!! .

I want to give a BIG shoutout to 8th grader, Joshua Whitesides! He placed 2nd in middle school boys at the NC State Archery Tournament this past weekend! He shot a personal best score of 285! His socre also placed him 1st for 8th grade boys and 5th out of 550 overall boys!

As his smile shows, he is PROUD! As are we! He has worked HARD to earn this trophy!

This weekend the EBMS Archery Team participated in the NC State Bullseye 10/15m Archery Tournament at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds — and we are incredibly proud of their performance!

Results:

EBMS Team #1 placed 2nd overall with a score of 3215, qualifying us for Nationals in Kentucky!

Our archery team had a solid showing this weekend, finishing 4th overall at the Trojan Country Veterans Tournament! We’re proud of the hard work, focus, and sportsmanship our archers displayed. Every tournament teaches us something new, and we’re excited to take what we learned and keep getting better. Great job, team!
