On August 25th near Compton, a street takeover turned violent when a car doing donuts slammed into a crowd of spectators. 🚨 Families know when their loved ones are out there—and too many stay silent.

Street takeovers aren’t harmless fun. They’re illegal, reckless, and deadly. If someone in your home is part of this chaos, your silence is permission. Take the keys. Speak up. Act before tragedy hits your doorstep.

Today, as fireworks light up the sky, we reflect not just on independence—but on the ongoing fight for true freedom and justice.

At Walker Family Events Foundation, we stand with all people while working to elevate the voices of veterans, the Native American community, people of color, the disabled, and working-class communities—those who’ve given so much - yet are too often overlooked or under attack.

Freedom isn’t just about waving a flag. It’s about access, dignity, equality, and truth. It’s about honoring all who’ve served and sacrificed—especially those whose stories don’t make the history books. 💜

We’re not here for performative patriotism. We’re here to build community, protect each other, and hold leaders accountable—because justice delayed is freedom denied.

Today, Memorial Day honors all U.S. service members who gave their lives in military service. At Walker Family Events Foundation, we pause to remember the heroes — the sons, daughters, parents, and friends — who made the ultimate sacrifice. And as the meaning of Memorial Day has broadened, many also take this time to reflect on loved ones they've lost, both in and out of uniform.
