Congratulations to Nicole and Gus on their elections! Thank you to everyone who turned up to vote yesterday, making time to come out and support our schools is one of the most important things we can do as a community. I hope to continue to see everyone at future events and meetings and am excited for the future of Commack!

Today is the last day of my journey as a first-time school board candidate. I am incredibly proud of what I have accomplished, the many conversations I have had with folks about the state of education, and my ambition to lead my community to a safer, more inclusive place for all kids to learn . Regardless of the results today, I will continue to show up and speak up for my neighborhood.

I strongly encourage *everyone* to go out and vote today. School district votes have tragically low turn out despite having a major impact on our communities. If you are in the Commack District I would be honored to have your vote. If you are not in my district I encourage you to consult the LISSA recommended candidates list and review your district's buget proposal before you cast your ballots today.

Tomorrow is our district election day! As a reminder we will be voting to fill two board positions as well as voting on whether or not to approve the drafted 2025-2026 budget.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and got to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We are just about a week out from voting day and as a reminder, you can contact the district clerk to request an early voting ballot every day up to the election.

The PTA Council also released this year's Q&A. They received over 60 questions from our neighbors, good job everyone! I really enjoyed hearing a sampling of our community voice and am happy to share more if anyone has further questions.
