I had the honor of participating in the Ohio Urgent Care Coalition Legislative Summit, alongside Angie King, State Representative.

We discussed issues impacting urgent cares across Ohio, specifically in our rural areas.

I also highlighted how SB 324, which the Senate passed back in June, authorizes a general X-ray machine operator to perform radiologic procedures under the direct supervision of a certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

This bill will combat the shortage of radiological technologists and will expand access to medical care in underserved rural communities.

Today, a bill in the Ohio House was introduced that would legalize medically assisted death for patients with terminal conditions within six months of death, otherwise known as Assisted Su***de.

I’m very excited to welcome Buc-ee's to the Buckeye state! This is a tremendous investment for the Dayton area, specifically for the City of Huber Heights. It will increase tourism, economic growth, and add new job opportunities to the region.

The location is truly impeccable. It’s right off of I-70 and SR 235 and SR 4.

I’d recommend trying their brisket sandwich. It’s super delicious!

Please check out my recent editorial in the Columbus Dispatch on the Rural Health Transformation Program. This initiative was authorized by the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act’ that was signed into law last year by President Trump.

This program will allow states, such as Ohio, to reduce regulatory hurdles and provide an easier and less costly access to medical care across the state, specifically in rural communities.

Now, it is up to us in the General Assembly to get to work to do our part.
