Sept 26 Hazardous Waste Collection

SWACO OFFERS FREE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENTS FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY RESIDENTS

WHAT:
SWACO is partnering with local communities to keep Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) out of the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill by offering free drop-off events throughout central Ohio.

WHEN:
Saturday, September 26th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE:
City of Grove City, Kingston Center at 3226 Kingston Avenue

Households generate a wide range of poisonous, dangerous, flammable, and corrosive products, including lawn chemicals, solvents, household cleaners and pool chemicals. These materials should not be tossed out with household garbage but should be taken to a mobile collection event or SWACO’s HHW facility located at 645 E. 8th Avenue in Columbus (43201).

Saturday, October 3 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. – City of Westerville, 350 Park Meadow Rd. (Westerville Public Service Complex)

Roberts Road detour update...

Roberts Road construction update 🚧

Heads up drivers! Construction will begin Monday, Sept. 21.

⬅️ Westbound traffic will be detoured using Alton & Darby Creek Road and Walker Road.

➡️ Traffic in the eastbound direction will remain open ✅

This project includes full roadway reconstruction, new sidewalks and shared-use paths, street lighting, and utility improvements. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as construction continues this fall.

The Brown Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Brown Township Zoning Resolution.

Location: Upstairs Meeting Room, Walker Road Firehouse
