This week is National Crime Victims' Rights Week and one of the things that we often forget is that while justice for a victim/survivor CAN mean long prison sentences, it can also mean restorative justice. As advocates, we can and should strive to uplift survivor voice and choice. Thank you for this reminder, National Organization for Victim Advocacy and the survivors who spoke!
