Hey neighbors, If you're interested in joining the Hilltop Area Commission, please let me know! We have 3 seats open:
a One Year Seat - To fill vacancy
A Two year seat - to fill a vacancy
A Three year (full term) seat - to fill the 'appointed seat' that comes open every January. (This seat can be filled by a person who lives, works, or owns property in the Hilltop).

We have three open seats to be appointed during our January 6th Full Commission Meeting starting at 6:30 located at the Hilltop Branch of the Columbus Public Library!

Zoning committee will meet on December 17th at the Hilltop Library:

We have a LOT of work to do before the end of the year! Please come on out!!! We need community input!!!

1. TheoryWellness - a new dispensary at 3905 Sullivant Avenue. (next to the gas station and across the street from pizza hut).

2. A rezoning application to allow a used car dealership at 1975 W. Mound St.

3. a zoning variance for a larger garage at 460 S. Powell Ave.

Hey friends, as happens from time to time, we have 2 vacancies on the area commission.

These will be 1 year terms where you will be appointed in december to complete existing terms and serve through next December. (You can run for a full term after that if you wish).

Development is best when the community can be heard and the COMMUNITY can guide the process! Hilltop RISE needs to hear from the community on how to develop a specific block along W. Broad St.

Earlier this year, Hilltop RISE, emphasizing the importance of historic preservation, entered into an agreement with the owners of the Historic Bank Block and NextGen. This agreement ensures that Hilltop RISE will serve as the community liaison during NextGen's ownership and throughout the redesign process.

As part of this effort, we want to hear from YOU! Join us at one of our upcoming listening sessions to share your thoughts and ideas for the future of the Bank Block.

Hey friends who are looking to give back to the community. the Columbus Metropolitan Library - Hilltop Branch is looking for volunteers to serve as reading buddies to elementary school kids. Monday and/or Wednesdays 4-5:30. Training provided. Let's show the community that the Hilltop steps up when needed!

I might be a bit bias, but the 2pm performance of a little musical theater was the absolute best! :p
