🌟💙Last Monday, our Rotary Club had the absolute honor of hearing from two incredible presenters, Dr. Nancy Hoover and Jamie Greenhouse, who shared their hearts for Advocates for Children.
Their passion for serving vulnerable children and ensuring that every child has a voice was both inspiring and impactful. Through their work, Advocates for Children is making a profound difference in the lives of children across several South Central Indiana counties.
One of the most meaningful ways to get involved is by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). CASA volunteers are trained community members who advocate for the best interests of children involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect. Their presence can be life-changing, providing consistency, encouragement, and a voice when it is needed most.
If you have ever felt called to make a lasting difference in the life of a child, we encourage you to learn more about Advocates for Children and the opportunity to serve as a CASA volunteer.
Thank you, Dr. Hoover and Jamie, for the work you do and for reminding us that one caring adult can change the trajectory of a child's life 🌟💙
