A Note to our Amazing Clients and Notaries:

We at Proformance Signings want to thank you for your continued patience as we work with a skeleton crew and limited hours.

Some of you may not know that my life partner, Michael is fighting Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, and his chemotherapy is quite the resource vacuum.

If we have not responded to your call or email in a timely manner, please know that it HAS been seen, and IS on our List. We very much appreciate your patience. The chemo schedule runs in cycles, between which, I hope to be catching up!

If you are one to pray, we'd appreciate that, too. It will be a long fight. Thank you. ~Gretchen

A note to our Valued Clients and Notaries:

We have been away this month while my life partner, Michael, is being treated for APL (Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia). This has been quite the shock to us both personally and professionally. We want to thank those who have rallied to support us, as well as those whose messages haven't yet been returned; we are not ignoring you! Once this crisis is passed, we will be back in full force!

"What About it Wednesday" is a NEW THING for us!

We're looking for "eye twitching" things to talk about in our world!
THIS item was posted a while ago in a group asking: "May I write in the county and state to this document?"

YES! ABSOLUTELY! THIS is the VENUE, and is REQUIRED on EVERY Notarial Certificate in Ohio. You MUST record both the State and County *where you are sitting AT THE TIME of the Notarization* (NOT where the property is located, which may be different!).

ALSO missing is the NAME of the signer, which can be added after the date: "Sworn to and subscribed before me this __ day of __, BY John Q Public."

These are the DETAILS that invalidate your Certs, causing not only funding delays and filing kickbacks, but CLOSING FAILURES.
