This meeting will help shape the Cityโs Electric Integrated Resource Plan (IRP)โa long-term roadmap for how Columbia meets future energy needs while balancing reliability, affordability, environmental impact, and customer priorities.
๐ก What weโll discuss:
- Electrical generation sources (natural gas, nuclear, solar, wind, and more)
- Internal vs. external generation
- Potential impacts of future expansion and business growth
- Considerations like greenhouse gas impacts, space needs, and reliability
Input gathered will inform the Cityโs consultant, The Energy Authority (TEA), which is developing the final IRP report to be released this spring.
