Referendums show the state that the municipality supports our public schools. When referendums pass, it gives municipalities access to state funds, which we ALL contribute to in our State Taxes, ultimately resulting in taxpayers paying less for the items in the referendums.

When we don't support referendums, municipalities must pay for 100% of the work being done and it could result in cuts to programs that support our children's growth and education.

There are 5 standing committees on the Board of Education. They are:

Building and Grounds/Safety and Security Committee
Communications Committee
Curriculum Committee
Finance/Negotiations Committee
Policy Committee

These committees meet and make recommendations to the School Board to vote as a whole governing body. If elected, I will serve the constituents of the community to provide the best education to our children. I will listen to all people (teachers, students, parents, staff and non-parents) and work to find the best solutions for our community.
