A huge thank you to Harvest Pack for their incredible partnership and generosity! 💙

We're grateful for their donation of oatmeal and for hosting a fantastic packing event that brought people together to help fight hunger in our community. Every package packed and every donation made will help provide nutritious food to neighbors who need it most.

Thank you to everyone at Harvest Pack and all the volunteers who made this event such a success. Together, we're making a meaningful difference, one meal at a time.

Do you know about the 2026 SNAP Work Requirements?

Some SNAP recipients may be subject to work requirements if they are considered an Able-Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWD), which generally includes adults ages 18–64 without dependents or living with children over age 14.

To maintain SNAP benefits, ABAWD participants may need to complete at least 80 hours per month of:
✔️ Paid employment
✔️ In-kind work
✔️ Volunteer service

You may be exempt from these requirements if you are:
• Pregnant
• Physically or mentally unable to work (with documentation)
• Enrolled at least half-time in school, college, or a training program
• Receiving or have applied for unemployment benefits
• Regularly participating in a drug or alcohol treatment program

For more information about SNAP work requirements and exemptions, visit:

Since 1996, Colorado Farm to Table has been growing fresh produce to give away to Coloradans in need. What started with just 2 acres by Tony Madone Jr. has now grown into 10 acres, led by Farm Manager TJ and supported by dozens of dedicated volunteers.

In 2024 alone, Care and Share received more than 14,000 pounds of incredible fresh produce from Colorado Farm to Table. According to their 2024 Impact Report, they grew, harvested, and donated 98,000 pounds of produce to 24 partners with the help of 940 volunteer hours!

Our own Kristina had the opportunity to visit their greenhouse this week to help repot tomatoes, squash, and broccoli. We are so grateful for this amazing partnership and for the fresh, nutritious food they continue to provide to our neighbors across Southern Colorado. Thank you, Colorado Farm to Table, for all you do!
