🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the memories of September 11, 2001, remain etched into our hearts.

We remember the thousands of innocent people whose lives were taken, the families who lost someone they loved, the people who were forever changed, and the countless acts of courage, compassion, and sacrifice that followed.

We remember the people who were simply going to work, boarding a plane, traveling, or beginning an ordinary day — never knowing it would be their last.

And we remember the heroes who responded, the strangers who helped strangers, and a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Tonight, members of Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding fire companies had the honor of providing fire police for the 9/11 Motorcycle Ride, helping ensure the riders could safely travel through our communities as they paid tribute to those we lost.

September 11th is more than a date in history. It is a reminder of how precious life is, how quickly everything can change, and how important it is to stand together.

We will never forget. 🕊️

Earlier today Engine 15 and Traffic 15 responded to a mutual aid call for Trout Run Volunteer Fire Company. We had 4 members respond to the rollover motor vehicle accident on Route 15 North providing traffic control and an BLS assessment.
