Hey there class of 63 survivors! We are less than month from the 60th anniversary of a milestone in our lives. At 50 years we gathered for a lot of fun. Is there any interest in a lower key fun gathering for 60 years? It doesn't appear anyone has the heart to take on a big event, but a picnic/potluck in one of the Clovis parks on a cooler fall day might be an option. If a date,time/place was chosen would you attend? If there is enough interest we can try to pull it together. Let me know please, talk among your friends and be honest about your interest. Our class scattered more than most so pulling together is a challenge. Thanks, Candy

Reaching out to CHS grads from the class of 63, anyone still out there? Another reunion has been discussed and, pretty much, ruled out for the 60th. The committee from the 50th isn't anxious to take on that monumental task again and getting a consensus about the feasibility hasn't happen yet. That leaves us with some monies in the reunion bank account and a wish to use them in a way that's a positive for the class and its memories. A number of suggestions have been tossed into the hat. Among those ideas are a lunch/dinner using those funds to offset the costs as much as possible, also donating to a charity in the name of the class (charity to be decided), another idea was the purchase a bench like the ones in Old Town Clovis with a plaque commemorating our class. The committee is open to suggestions and would love to hear from as many classmates as possible. If you have an idea you'd like to share, please do. Don't forget to visit the class website, get more classmates to sign up on that page so we can keep our contact lists updated and get notices out for the next reunion. Keep in touch with each other, life's too short to lose contact with old friends!

The question of dress style for the reunion has been raised by several people and the consensus is that summer business casual would be the best choice. Relaxed, cool and comfortable, although probably not quite beach friendly informal, is the majority vote. So plan on being comfortable and ready for whatever summer temperature Mother Nature throws out way... and plan on a good time too!

The countdown has begun, we're only 12 days from the reunion! If you haven't sent your reservation in please make sure your check is received by this Friday, the caterer needs a head count. And if you can't make the dinner, just stop by anyway for a chance to catch up with old friends, renew acquaintances and see what paths we've followed in these many years. There will be music, refreshments and plenty of time to visit the people and the class stone in the park. Hope to see everyone there!

Have you sent your reservation check to Mike and Jill? Time's getting short, we are only four weeks from the reunion and it's important to get a head count for the caterer. It's going to be a grand time in the old town on June 22...sure hope you'll be there!

Visit the website below for our class reunion and fill out your profile, update addresses and such so we can be sure you get the latest information. It appears our address list is seriously outdated from 10 years ago, phone numbers are scarce and emails are almost non-existent from back then. If you know how to contact another class member please let them know it's important to respond... 50 only comes around once, let's make it memorable with everyone in attendance!

Deadline for payment is June 1, 2013...if we don't have enough response the reuion won't survive!
