Spencer Arave - Clinton City Council

Spencer Arave - Clinton City Council This is not an official social media account for Clinton City, Utah. I’m thrilled to have been elected to Clinton City Council. Thank You.

Opinions shared are my own as an individual and do not necessarily reflect the positions and views of the city, or other city officials as a whole. I grew up here in Clinton and chose to start my own family here. What can I say, I love Clinton City. I love the hometown feel, the opportunity for thoughtful and organized growth, and the community that helps make Clinton the great city that it is. I

worked for the Recreation Department and served the community for over twenty years in various positions. I have helped organize our youth and adult sports, served at our Senior Luncheon, served with the Arts Board to help organize community events, hosted/MC'd our very own City Days, worked on the Clinton City website, and more. Throughout my years, I have seen the passion and love that you have for OUR community. I look forward to building on the core values that make us who we are as we look to the future, seizing the continued potential that Clinton has to offer. I am grateful to the many Clinton City Residents who have supported me and will support me, in this endeavor. I cannot wait to work with you to use my vote in the way you want to be represented. Let me know if you have any questions about my views. I would be happy to chat.

Thank you to everyone who voted this year. This election was one for the history books.

Thank you to everyone who ran for office in Clinton this year. It takes real commitment to step forward and serve, and I appreciate each candidate and their families for their time and energy they’ve given to this community.

Congratulations to those elected, and thank you to those who have served, fought and given so much already. No matter the results, we all share the same goal, keeping Clinton a great place to live, work and raise a family.

Elections come and go, but the drive to make our community better does not.

Preliminary results are in for the 2025 General Election. The results are as follows:

Mayor - Marie Dougherty

City Council Seat 1 - Adam Larsen
City Council Seat 2 - Too Close to Call

Currently Chris Danson has the top votes and would be expected to fill seat 2, however, because of the close nature (17 votes) the city will confirm with the county when all votes have been counted.

Clinton will canvas the election at the November 18 special City Council Meeting where all results will be finalized.

Congratulations to all who participated and the residents providing their vote. We received a very large turnout.

Thank you to the contributions of outgoing officials. Your legacy will forever part of the fabric of our community.
