UPDATE: As of 12:50 TVA has terminated the mandatory rolling blackout period.

To help reduce this from potentially reoccurring we still ask that you continue to follow the tips below to reduce energy use during this time.

ALERT- Rolling Blackouts.

Tennessee Valley Authority has asked its local electrical companies to perform rolling blackouts in area due to over demand of electric use from the cold weather.

The Rollong Blackouts are to last approximately 30 min time frames. If you do not have power after 30 minutes please contact your electrical service provider.

Here are some tips to help reduce electric consumption in your areas.
