The Clifton Advisory Beautification Committee in Clifton, NJ is made up of volunteer residents appointed by the Mayor and City Council, whose mission is to seek out, initiate and encourage civic beautification projects. In it's 30+ year history, this has included seeking grant funding for tree and flower plantings in City Parks, on the City Hall Complex, and other locations across the City. In addition, the Committee has helped to recognize home owners and businesses who have made an exceptional effort to help beautify Clifton at their residential and commercial properties. Wow. What an experience. Today members of the Clifton Advisory Beautification Committee (CBC) took a tour to see the beekeepers at Clifton High School. This club is run by security specialist/coach Terrence Brown and assisted by teacher Lisa Poggi. Some of our brave members suited up to get a closer look.
As a thank you for the tour, we donated 128 honey jars and three beekeeper jackets.
Thank you Mr. Brown for making this possible. Looking forward to a new batch of honey. 🐝🍯

Garret Mountain Reservation is currently closed due to a tree down on power lines following last night's storm. The closure is in effect until the area can be safely cleared.
