Upper 80s and low 90's this weekend - it's been a bit warm these last few days, so it might be time to pack the family up and head out to one of Northern Ohio's great water parks. Great Wolf is one of our favorites - but you do have a range of options. While they're all a bit pricey, the kids have a great time and the facilities are top-shelf. The Second Annual Scene Magazine Alefestival will be held at Lincoln Park in Tremont, Saturday, July 24th from 12 to 1pm (VIP limited to the first 100, $50/each) and 1-5pm General Admission ($20 advance, $30 gate).

Alefestival is a 21 and over event with over 100 selections of beer to sample, live music, outdoor games such as corn hole and food vendors from local restaurants available for sale.

I've heard nothing but great reviews of this place, but, I found that Nate's Deli and Restaurant brings you an AMAZING deli experience with some really cool, Mid-Eastern-infused specialties.

Want the best pastrami sandwich in town? You need to check this place out. The servings are orders of magnitude better than the competition - and the service itself is top notch.

My vote for the best course in the Metropark's system, Manakiki is only about 25 east of Downtown - just south of the 90-SOM Center Road (91) interchange.

The course was originally the summer home of Howard Hanna, a prominent Cleveland industrialist. In the 1940's the course was sold to the Cleveland Metroparks for $1. If you haven't played it yet - or haven't played there in awhile, give it another run!

Last I looked ... which was 2 minutes ago ... our Indians were in first place in the AL Central. If my math is correct, we're also well past the 1/2 way point of the season. :) Go Tribe!
