NOACA NOACA is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina Counties NOACA is planning for the region’s transportation future.

In June 2017, the agency’s Board of Directors approved the Long-Range Transportation Plan for Northeast Ohio called “AIM Forward 2040.”

The plan presents a vision of the region's transportation system 20 years into the future and identifies $15.8 billion in projects. In addition, the plan assesses congestion, freight movement, safety and more. It also outlines strategies for addressing these iss

ues in the future. The plan invests more than 90 percent of the $15.8 billion in funding for maintenance and community livability projects, and emphasizes multimodal alternatives for commuters.

NOACA in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the City of Cleveland Heights, proposes the installation of Electric Vehicle charging stations at the Community Center located off Monticello Blvd and Mayfield Rd., in Cuyahoga County. The installation will include four Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC) at the main public parking lot.
