A big congratulations to Paul Donaldson, winner of the Meriden-Cleghorn Fire Department Side x Side Raffle! He took home a 2025 Polaris Ranger and stopped by to celebrate with members of the department.

👏 We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and supported our fire departments. Fundraising plays a vital role in helping us continue operating and allows us to purchase new and upgraded equipment to better serve our community.

📣 Meriden Hazard Days Important Event Information – Please Read Before You Come! 🎶🎪🍔

We are so excited for this upcoming event, but we want to make sure you’re prepared so you can enjoy it to the fullest!

✅ Concert Tickets – Brad Morgan Band 🎸

$20.00 each – Purchased at the gate ONLY.

🎈 Free Activities

Inflatables for the kids & the Movie in the Greenspace 🎥 – FREE for everyone!

🎯 Games in the Park

Run by MMCRU and Cherokee school groups as fundraisers.

Cash only – bring enough to join the fun!

💳 Payment Options

No ATM will be available on-site.

Food trucks & shopping vendors may accept cards, but it varies by vendor.

Registration available ahead of time OR the day of the event.

Pre-register or sign up the day of.

Cost: $40 per vehicle (no matter how many passengers).

Includes 1 poker hand + 1 concert ticket + vehicle entry.

Extra concert tickets for passengers can be purchased at the gate for $20 each.

Extra poker hands available for purchase the day of.

Payouts for Poker Hands:
🥇 1st Place – $300
🥈 2nd Place – $200
🥉 3rd Place – $100

Side x Side Raffle Drawing – Winner announced at the end of the Poker Run, before the band starts!

Mark your calendars on August 16th for our 3rd annual side X side poker run! We’ll be raffling off a 2025 Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium that night and Brad Morgan will start performing after at 8pm. If you’re looking to buy a raffle ticket you can message us on Facebook or reach out to any of our members and we’ll get you however many you need. $100 per raffle ticket. If you missed us in the Rodeo Parade on Saturday, Cleghorn Rescue joined Meriden Rescue with the 2025 Polaris Ranger that will be raffled off on August 16th. Contact any member of the department for a raffle ticket $100 per ticket.

Wednesday, May 14th, Cleghorn Fire and Rescue teamed up with Meriden Fire Department for a vehicle extrication training. Both departments practiced skills on roof removal, door and window removal, all of which could mean the difference of outcomes in an actual car collision.
This was the prime opportunity for all of the Cleghorn Firefighters to train with our new jaws of life!

On April 26th, Cleghorn Fire joined the Paullina and Meriden Fire Departments for a controlled house burn. This was a great exercise for our new members on interior and exterior fire attack. Practice on flashover and breathing control was refreshed during this burn.
We appreciate these types of joint training and Thank the Paullina Fire Department for the invite.
