🚨 ACTION ALERT: Effective wildlife management, supported by affordable and accessible hunting, is a primary tool for protecting crops and maintaining farm viability.

However, HB1067/SB181 proposes a ban on lead ammunition that would significantly increase costs and reduce options for farmers, sportsmen, and families. By making hunting more expensive and difficult, this legislation threatens to worsen crop losses for an industry already facing tight margins and market uncertainty.

This is an amazing win for the children of our country and dairy farmers!

Today, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed my Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act, which gives schools the flexibility to offer flavored and unflavored whole and 2% milk options during school meals.

Today’s bill passage will help ensure children receive the nutrition they need to grow, thrive, and succeed in the classroom. It now heads to President Trump’s desk for his signature!

The Washington County Farm Bureau delegation had an excellent experience at the 110th Maryland Farm Bureau Convention, where they engaged in meaningful networking opportunities with fellow farmers and informative discussions with Representative April Delaney, while also submitting policy proposals for the upcoming legislative session.
