Never Forget 🇺🇸

September 11 is a date permanently etched into our collective memory. It represents a threshold in history—a moment where life changed instantly, leaving a profound mark on our nation and the world.
When we say "Never Forget," it is far more than a slogan or an annual tradition. It is an active commitment to carry forward the memory, lessons, and human stories of that day.

We remember the 2,977 souls lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. They were mothers, fathers, children, siblings, friends, and colleagues—people starting their workday, traveling for business, or heading home to loved ones. Behind every name etched in bronze or spoken aloud during memorial readings is a full life cut short and a family forever altered.

"Never Forget" honors the extraordinary bravery displayed in the face of unimaginable catastrophe.

* First Responders: The firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and port authority officers who ran toward danger, climbing smoke-filled stairwells while others evacuated.

* Everyday Heroes: The passengers of Flight 93 who courageously fought back, giving their lives to save countless others, and the coworkers and strangers who helped one another navigate the darkness to safety.

* The Aftermath: The thousands of first responders, recovery workers, and volunteers who spent months at Ground Zero and lost their health or lives to toxic exposure in the years that followed.

In the dark hours following the attacks, the world witnessed incredible unity, compassion, and resilience. Neighbors helped neighbors, blood donation lines wrapped around city blocks, and people set aside differences to stand together.

Never forgetting means keeping that spirit alive. It means choosing unity over division, extending grace to those around us, and protecting the freedoms and values so many gave their lives to defend.

Today, we pause, reflect, and reaffirm our promise: We remember, we honor, and we will never forget.🇺🇸✊🏼

One year ago today, we lost a bold, unapologetic voice for liberty, but the movement Charlie Kirk built and the movement he championed are stronger than ever.

Charlie dedicated his life to stepping into the arena—heading straight onto college campuses, opening up debate, and reminding a generation that American exceptionalism, faith, family, and freedom are worth fighting for. He showed us that courage is contagious and that standing up for our constitutional rights isn't optional; it's a duty.

His physical presence may be gone, but his vision, passion, and legacy live on in every single citizen who refuses to stay silent. Protecting our American values, defending the Constitution, and safeguarding our sacred freedoms requires relentless commitment.

Today, we honor his memory not just with words, but with action. Keep speaking up. Keep standing for truth. Keep fighting for what’s right.✊🏼🇺🇸

Never Forget! 🇺🇸✊🏼

Connecting people with the right resources is one of my favorite things to do. Whether it’s introducing neighbors, plugging families into support networks, or learning directly from local leaders, building strong community bridges is where real progress starts. ✨

Today, I had an amazing meeting with Chief Ty Burdine, and I left so inspired by the incredible work happening behind the scenes.

We talked through the wide range of community outreach efforts and specialized programs currently running within the Clarksville Police Department. Public safety isn't just about enforcement—it’s about active, positive engagement in the neighborhoods they serve.

It’s so vital for all of us as community members to understand the critical role public safety plays in a thriving city.

What impressed me most was Chief Burdine’s commitment to investing in our officers. He isn't just looking at career advancement—he’s genuinely focused on supporting and providing resources for the whole person. The men and women who wear the badge put their lives on the line every single day to keep our community safe, and seeing local leadership invest back into them means everything.

When we empower the people who protect our city, and when our community stays connected to public safety, everyone wins. Excited to keep sharing resources, building partnerships, and bringing people together for Clarksville!
