I feel comfortable saying that the people who believe the Bible to be the word of God and read it in a literal way are choosing ignorance over facts.

In Genesis it says on the third day God created vegetation and then goes on to say that on the fourth day God created the Sun, Moon and Stars. You obviously can't have plant life without the Sun, this is only one of many obvious contradictions between what the Bible says and what we know to be true.

To deny that the Bible is wrong in this matter is to purposefully deny scientific facts and if the Bible is wrong in any one matter then it is obviously not infallible and hence not the word of God. I will post the applicable bible versus below -

11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

I have no proof that Ted Cruz is a homos*xual psychopath but neither do the Christians have proof of god, They do have faith though and I have faith that Ted Cruz cruises around looking for vulnerable young boys that he can r**e and murder. You have to have faith in something, right Christians ?

Watching Sense8 on Netflix and one of the characters compares taking a mans c**k in his mouth with taking holy communion, saying it was just as much a religious experience for him. Netflix being able to fund it's own original content is only going to be a good thing for society.

Can't wait for the Satanic Monument to go up ! This is what Christians don't understand about freedom of Religion. It' not Freedom of Christianity, there are other religions and everything you take for Christianity must also be given to Satanism, Buddhism, Pastafarianism ect.
