Unfortunately the tough decision was made to cancel the parade and ceremony tomorrow.

I hope everyone will still take a minute to pause and remember those who gave their lives for ours. All gave some, and some gave all, and I thank them for their sacrifice every day!! ❤️🤍💙

Another reason to celebrate our Clark Township Police Department, every day, but especially mentioning as it is National Police Week, was on display today.

Police Director Grady did another presentation to seniors at Woodcrest warning against common scams. Their ward 2 Councilman Patrick O'Connor, at Large Council President Councilman Bill Smith, Mayor Angel Albanese and I were grateful for the opportunity to gather, depth of knowledge shared and participation by the residents.

The biggest takeaway was how easy it is to be scammed as the sophistication, especially through AI, is mind blowing. He repeated often how willing our CPD is to assist, no question too silly or small. We appreciate them, always!!

On a personal note, I would say we’ve seen a reluctance to report if one is scammed because of shame, embarrassment or fear, and if it helps to know some of the smartest people we know have been victims.

There is no shame in being victimized and you WILL be supported, so please don’t stay silent and know help is out there!

Thank you to our CPD and all who made today possible!

Spring clean up is still happening! Please have all your debris out by tonight! As always, our awesome DPW will be out until it’s done:) (just don’t add stuff tomorrow 😋)

This is a reminder that the final Spring Yard Debris Collection will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026. This will be the last opportunity to place bulk yard waste at the curb. After this collection, bulk yard waste will no longer be accepted.

As we move into the regular growing season, please note the following guidelines:

Grass Clippings & Green Waste:
All grass clippings must be placed in compostable paper grass/leaf bags only. Bags may contain grass only with no branches, sticks, or other debris.
Grass collection takes place on Tuesdays starting May 5th.

Branch Collection (Beginning in May):
Branches may be placed at the curb once per month only, during the third week of the month. Collection will take place during the fourth week of the month.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep our community clean and ensure efficient collection services for all residents.

Thank you,

The Clark Dept. of Public Works
