Today, we remember all Clarion County residents who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. From the battlefields of World War I and World War II to Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and every conflict in between, these men and women answered the call of duty and gave their lives in service to our nation.

Their courage protected the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

On this Memorial Day, we honor not only the fallen, but also the families, friends, and communities forever changed by their loss.

May we always remember:
🇺🇸 The price of freedom is never free.
🇺🇸 The legacy of our fallen lives on through remembrance.
🇺🇸 Clarion County will never forget its heroes.

Way to go, Ruthie! I love seeing programs like Hunter Safety offered through Clarion Area and other local school districts. Teaching safe, responsible practices early on is such an important step in helping young hunters stay safe and confident outdoors.

Should we start taking bets on whether she’ll actually agree to go hunting with her dear old dad? 😂
