Citizens of Claremore, if you haven't heard yet, you will have the opportunity to vote on a 1 penny sales tax. The tax goes to fund Claremore Police and Claremore Fire only. Claremore Police Department has sadly lost another retiree.

Carl Nichols was hired in July 1968 to wear badge #53. Carl served the citizens of Claremore until his retirement in July 1988.

Carl was always proud to have been an officer with the Claremore Police Department for 20 years.

Carl was 84 years old, and was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Judy.

Services for Carl are as follows:

Viewing:
Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 at 1200-1700 hours – Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home, 4424 W 33rd W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107

Funeral Service:
Monday, January 24th, 2022 at 1100 hours – New Home Freewill Baptist Church, 3110 S 65th W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107 (across from Berryhill HS)
