Join the Coffee Party Movement Cincinnati, OH

Join the Coffee Party Movement Cincinnati, OH We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will.

As voters & volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and will hold accountable those who obstruct. Coffee Party Cincinnati was at one time the Cincinnati chapter of Coffee Party USA, an organization dedicated to campaign finance reform, Wall Street/banking reform and giving a voice to We the People to hold our elected officials accountable. Two of the core tenets of

the Coffee Party Movement are the need for rational, civil discourse and a desire to be transpartisan. Coffee Party Cincinnati is no longer active as an organization, but most members remain engaged in political and activist endeavors with other organizations. We are happy to share information on other Cincinnati-area and Ohio activist groups with our followers. Because of questionable actions taken in 2014 by the Coffee Party USA Board of Directors that posed conflicts of interest with the organization's goals and mission, we no longer encourage people to join the national group. If we learn that the issues have been addressed and a new board elected that will return to the core principles on which the organization was founded, we will update that here and resume support for the national organization. But we're keeping the name, at least for now, because that's how people know us and we do support the principles on which the organization was originally founded. We now post about the same political issues of campaign finance reform/overturning Citizens United, voting rights, Wall Street/bank reform and other issues of concern to our followers, and we also share local activist events and local and state political news updates.
