Twenty-five years later, we remember. 🇺🇸

We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the countless men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

May we never forget the lives, the courage, and the sacrifice of September 11th and all that followed.

đź”’ Free Gun Locks Available for Cibolo Residents

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, we recognized September 8 as Firearm Su***de Prevention Day, an important reminder that safe firearm storage can help protect our families and our community.

Through a partnership with Project ChildSafe, free gun locks are available at the Cibolo Police Department. Simply stop by the front desk and ask for one.

No cost. No complicated process. Just another resource available to help keep our homes and families safe. 💙💜

At last night’s City Council meeting, we recognized AISIN Texas Corporation for its continued investment in Cibolo.

Since opening its first Texas manufacturing facility here in 2019, AISIN has invested approximately $400 million and created hundreds of local jobs.

Thank you to AISIN’s leadership and employees for being part of our community!

❤️ Cibolo & surrounding community, here’s a simple way to help provide comfort to someone during one of the hardest moments of their life. A community donation drive is underway benefiting Thriving Hearts Crisis Center in Guadalupe County.

They are collecting:
🧸 Stuffed animals
🛏️ Blankets
đź“– Bibles

For individuals and families arriving at a crisis center, sometimes with little more than what they’re wearing, something as simple as a warm blanket or stuffed animal can provide a small sense of comfort and security during an incredibly difficult time.

Donations are being accepted through September 1 at:

📍 Harmon's Barbecue
📍 Native American Contracting LLC
📍 Schertz Salon & Spa
📍 River City Ace

Thank you to Miss Inspire Brook for organizing this drive and to our local businesses serving as drop-off locations. A small act of kindness can mean so much to someone in our community who is going through a difficult time.

Let's show up for our neighbors, Cibolo! ❤️

July was BUSY, Cibolo! 💙 And I’m excited to share a quick look at some of the places I went, people I met, and issues I worked on throughout the month.

From celebrating the 4th of July and spending time with our seniors and Animal Services, to learning more about our city operations, working through the budget, and continuing conversations about growth and development, there was a lot happening!

🎥 Take a minute to watch my July Council Update for a quick recap!

And a friendly reminder for TOMORROW NIGHT! 👇

Have questions about the data center? This is your opportunity to come out, hear the information, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.

I hope to see you there! And as always, keep reaching out, asking questions, and staying involved. An engaged community makes a difference! đź’™
