Thanks to THREE RIVERS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION for helping clean up the new Library building before winter. Six amazing volunteers, led by their captain, Nicole Fairchild, spent 4 hours doing landscaping and tidying up before winter’s cold winds arrive. They even saved a couple roses for me!

Truly, thanks to ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS who are making a valued difference in our community!

Thank you to the many hands that helped put together our Block Party last night.

Thank you Tadd Shively ,Jeremy Hart, John Forker and the Churubusco Police Department for preparing the area for our event. Thank you to Garry Jones, Sonny Taylor, The Todd Harrold Band, and Carl with Brickshed Studios for great entertainment throughout the day.

Thank you to the Churubusco Public Library for hosting the Fine Arts Festival and inviting artists and vendors, and the Churubusco Community Coalition for the use of the building and property to host the event.

Thank you to Main Street Churubusco for the Chalk Walk and thank you to the artists for your chalk art.

Thank you to Melissa Baughman and the Thespian kids for reading their favorite childhood stories. Thank you to Noelani and Brian Stephens and New Life Furniture for the Market and use of your space.

Thank you to Larry Hall for capturing these moments and sharing all of your pictures. Thank you to all of the Churubusco Merchants that came and shared with our Community.

Thank you to the Churubusco Chamber of Commerce and the Committee that put all this together. The weather held and we had a great event for Churubusco. Many many hours of hard work went into making this happen. Thank you to everyone that attended.

I know that I have missed someone to mention. But thank you Churubusco for uniting and making it a great day to live in Churubusco. Here’s to many many more.

Today is the day! Busco Fine Arts Festival and Block Party.

The future home of the Churubusco Public Library will be more than a building—it will be a vibrant community hub where ideas grow, relationships are built, and opportunities are within reach for all. With guidance from the Churubusco Community Coalition, this project is about creating a space that reflects the heart and potential of Churubusco.

Plan to spend the day in Churubusco THIS Saturday, August 22nd! Start with the Library’s Fine Arts Festival from 9 am - 2 pm. We’ll have artisans, vendors, and happy storytellers to engage you! K&K is hosting a flea market too! Beautiful chalk drawings with a Chalk Walk! Food! Coffee! Drinks!! Wowsa!! 🍭🍰☕️🍕

We’ll give you building tours of the new library home throughout the day, then the BLOCK PARTY with live music starts at 4 pm. 🎵🎶🎼

Plan for a FUN DAY enjoying our town! Grab a friend (and a chair for the block party) and come visit! Smiles are free and so is the entertainment ! Donations to thy Library construction project happily accepted! 😎😍😊

Come see the new project in action!

On June 13th, from 9am-1pm, the Library Ad Hoc Committee and members of the Churubusco Community Coalition will be over at the new library building (The former bank building on the corner of Line St. and 205).

Stop by and see the prorgress on our new library building! We would love to see you there!
