TODAY, Tuesday, September 12, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join the fun as we laugh, dance, and enjoy each other's company while learning dance new to us, but old as the 13 Colonies. This is the dancing you find in Pride and Prejudice, that George Washington did on vacation, and that evolved into modern Contra and Square dancing.
Beginners, groups, singles, and families are always welcome. Every dance will be taught by being broken down into simple components and cued while dancing. If you can walk, you can dance, and we'd love to have you join the set.

English Country Dancing tonight was aaaawsome! I wish I had gotten some better pictures, but was having fun dancing.

We did “Trip to Town-o” a circle dance I honor of Pi Day. “Red House” - the most challenging of the dances. “Hey Boys, Up Go We” - the clappy dance. And slowed it down with “Duke of Kent’s Waltz.”

Great group at our November workshop! Lots of new historic dancers in the making. 😍 unfortunately I forgot about pictures until right at the end. Fortunately, Susan was able to help me out during those last few minutes.

Had a great time tonight! We danced several dances from the Jefferson Ball program and enjoyed a bit of chaos. 😀
