Repost from • We are incredibly proud of our Rhodes athletes who represented our school at the SCMAF Championships this weekend! Their hard work, dedication, and determination were on full display as they competed against some of the area’s top athletes.

Congratulations to our medal winners:
🥈 Kiara Abou Nasir – 2nd Place, 50m Dash
🥇 Riley Van Gundy – 1st Place, Softball Throw
🥈 Quinn St. Claire – 2nd Place, Long Jump

🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Do our happy dance in celebration of Arelle’s amazing accomplishment 🙌🎊 If you have ever been an athlete then you know that there is a lot of heart, dedication, and discipline that goes into training and preparing for competition. And if you know ARELLE, then you know she invests her entire being into her craft.

CIF STATE CHAMPION - ARELLE MIDDLETON - Girls Para Shot Put. Congratulations .mid08 for winning your back to back State Title and breaking your previous meet record your senior year. Arelle will be heading to Alabama to compete with the Crimson Tide in both track & field and wheelchair basketball, as well as competing for Team USAs wheelchair basketball team. Arelle is a huge advocate for para sports and looks to continue to advocate and spread the word about para athletic opportunities. We look forward to watching her compete in college and on the world stage at the LA28 Olympics. Congratulations Arelle!! Once a Cowboy, Always a Cowboy.
