The Warm Table Project is looking to collaborate with local Chillicothe businesses 💙

Our mission is to help break the stigma surrounding mental health by encouraging honest conversations, building safe spaces, and bringing people together through community involvement, education, and support.

We believe real change happens when a community stands together. That’s why we’re looking for ways to get more involved locally — through events, partnerships, outreach programs, volunteer opportunities, and open conversations that remind people they are never alone.

Mental health affects all of us, and real change happens when communities come together.

If you’re a local business, organization, or individual interested in partnering, volunteering, sponsoring an event, or getting involved, we’d love to connect. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community where no one feels alone.

Stay tuned for upcoming events, resources, and opportunities to get involved!💚

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our beautiful Dylan — a friend, a son, a brother, a soul who carried so much light.

Losing another friend to a battle they carried alone leaves us in a quiet ache. This is a reminder for how deeply we all need to feel seen. A reminder for how much we carry behind the smiles and small talk. Hold your people close. Slow down and check in with tenderness. Love them in the small, steady ways that reach them and remind them that they matter.

You matter, even on the days you can’t feel it yourself. The world is a better place because you’re in it. We want you here in all of your becoming.

We’ll carry Dylan with us, always — but we’ll miss him deeply. Dylan and Marcus’ spirit will live through us all as we continue to advocate for mental health awareness.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

This year, and right now, feels closer to home for families in our community, friends, and our CHS Class of 2012.

Take a moment to check in on your people—and let someone check in on you, too.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to go through it alone. Call or text 988 anytime. 🤍

Today we gathered to celebrate Marcus on his birthday.

His presence is still felt in every laugh, every child running around, every table filled with people who love each other.

The Warm Table Project exists because of him. Because connection matters. Because no one should feel alone.

Happy birthday, Marcus. You are still bringing people together. ❤️🪽🎂

A new year doesn’t erase the people we love. We’re still missing him. And that’s okay.

Through The Warm Table Project, we’ll be honoring Marcus’ message with events, connection, and community throughout the year.

Stay tuned ❤️

Mental health isn’t a personal failure — it’s chemistry, stress, trauma, and life.
For some people, medication helps bring things back into balance.

Marcus believed in meeting people where they are.

For some, that means talk.
For some, that means rest.
For some, that means medication to help with chemical imbalances.

All of it is valid.
All of it is care.
And it’s okay if that’s part of how you turn the lights back on. 🤍

As the season gets louder, brighter, and more crowded, this is your reminder 🤍

You do not have to pretend the year was easy.

You do not have to rush your healing.

You do not have to sit this one out because your heart feels tired.

Marcus believed everyone deserved a warm table. A place to show up exactly as they are, whether they are celebrating, grieving, or somewhere in between.

If this year asked more of you than anyone knew, if you kept going while feeling empty, if you are still carrying loss quietly, you are still worthy of joy, rest, and belonging.

Take pride in how far you have come.
Give yourself permission to feel what you feel.
And remember, you deserve a seat at the table.

🤍

About The Warm Table Project – Marcus’ Message

The Warm Table Project was created in loving memory of our friend Marcus—a man who never met a stranger, who lit up every room with his smile, and who made everyone feel welcome, seen, and fed. Marcus had a gift: he could turn any moment into a gathering, any kitchen into a safe place, and any meal into an act of love.

This page is dedicated to sharing his spirit forward.

Why “The Warm Table”?
Because Marcus believed everyone deserves:
• A warm table to sit at
• A good meal to nourish them
• And a safe space to open up, connect, and feel supported

Mental health struggles often feel isolating. But when someone sits with us—really sits—and listens, it changes everything. A warm table symbolizes comfort, community, and the reminder that none of us should face our hardest days alone. This project stands for that promise.

Our Mission
To raise awareness for mental health, especially men’s mental health, reduce stigma, and offer support and resources to anyone who needs them. We hope to encourage honest conversations, share helpful information, and build a community grounded in compassion—just like Marcus lived his life.
