Whether it’s a critical care transfer between hospitals, a trauma scene response, or providing rapid access to specialized care, MedFlight 1 stands ready to serve our communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Behind every flight is a dedicated team of pilots, flight nurses, flight paramedics, dispatchers, mechanics, and our EMS and hospital partners working together to provide the highest level of patient care.

Adena Health’s continued growth is exciting news for healthcare across our region. Congratulations to Adena Health and Fairfield Medical Center as they explore this opportunity to expand access to high-quality, local care for the communities they serve.

As the air medical provider for the Adena Health System, the crew of MedFlight 1 is proud to support Adena’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care close to home. We value our strong partnership with the physicians, nurses, EMS providers, and staff throughout the Adena network, and we look forward to continuing to work together to provide rapid access to advanced critical care when patients need it most.

We are excited to see what the future holds and wish both organizations success as they move through this process.

We are excited to announce that we have agreed to a nonbinding letter of intent to explore the possibility of a potential acquisition of Fairfield Medical Center.

This opportunity aligns directly with our Adena 2030 strategic plan, and goal of thoughtful and intentional growth to strengthen access to high-quality, local care across the region.

We are committed to partnering with organizations that share our mission and commitment to keeping care local, and Fairfield Medical Center is one of those organizations. We look forward to the next steps in this process.

As we enjoy time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

At MedFlight 1, we are forever grateful for those who gave their lives in service to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, we honor the fallen, remember their families, and reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

As EMS Week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize every EMT, paramedic, dispatcher, nurse, firefighter, pilot, mechanic, communications specialist, and first responder who answers the call — day or night, rain or shine.

From roadside scenes to critical care transports, from rural communities to hospital helipads across southern Ohio, this week was a reminder of the teamwork, dedication, and sacrifice it takes to serve others in their worst moments.

At MedFlight 1, we are honored to work alongside some of the best partners in emergency medicine. Thank you to the departments, agencies, hospitals, and communities that trust us every day.
