Over the past few days, I’ve had some time to reflect—and more than anything, I’m filled with gratitude.
While the outcome of the election was not what we had hoped for, I am incredibly proud of the campaign we ran and the community we built together across the Eighth Subcircuit. I had the privilege of meeting so many thoughtful, dedicated people who care deeply about fairness, integrity, and justice. That is something I will carry with me moving forward.
To everyone who supported this campaign—whether you volunteered, donated, hosted, or simply offered words of encouragement—thank you. Your belief in me meant more than I can properly express.
I also want to congratulate my opponent and wish them the very best in serving our community.
This experience has only strengthened my commitment to public service and to the values that brought us together. I’m excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to be engaged in and supportive of our community in new ways.
