My name is Elizabeth Dibler, and I am running for judge in the 8th Judicial Subcircuit

For 23 years, I’ve worked as a prosecutor, and I am currently the supervisor of First Appearance Court, where fairness and integrity guide every decision I make.

I just wanted to give an update because I have had a lot of questions and I have been quiet since Election Day. The race is incredibly close and because of that, they are counting the mail in ballots. I don’t expect to know a final results for another 10 days.

While we wait for the results, I want to say thank you to everyone who put their trust in me. I wouldn’t be here without all of you!

The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois has released their judicial ratings ahead of the March Primary Elections.

I received the HIGHEST rating possible, a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will notice an asterix next to my name and that is because the WBAI only offered HR from 2022-2025 and then it switched to just recommended or not recommended.

I will link the full list of ratings below, and I encourage you to look at it. Elizabeth Christina Dibler is the ONLY candidate listed with a Highly Recommended next to their name. We need qualified judges on the bench. Don’t forget to vote Elizabeth Christina Dibler, ballot 142!

I am feeling encouraged and energized today because the sun is shining and I love being out in the 32nd Ward talking to the voters about why experience and qualifications matter when electing judges. When you look at qualifications and experience, the clear choice is Elizabeth Dibler.

What a full first week, week 1 of early voting is complete. We were out there everyday reminding the voters in the 8th Judicial Subcircuit of the importance of experienced and qualified judges and in return received so much positive feedback. I may have lost my voice, but that will not slow me down, 8 more days to go.
