Velvet Legacy - Birdhouse, Inc. c. 1982 -- 2010. A unique venue founded and operated by musician and composer Fred Anderson. It was a stage for creative music and a meeting place for all.

This fan page honors Fred Anderson and his Velvet Lounge, which closed in November 2010. We continue to use it to post news, information, tributes and photographs related to the history of Fred, the little club that was his pride and joy and the universe of musicians and fans that are related to his life's work.
