Illinois Campaign to End the New Jim Crow

Illinois Campaign to End the New Jim Crow The IL Campaign to End the New Jim Crow is a bottom-up grassroots organization that fights racist police terror in Chicagoland. Families & Activists United!

The IL CENJC seeks to connect families who have experienced police terror and murder with community activists and speak out against the racist violence in all of our communities. We are family members, concerned citizens, and fighters. We also acknowledge that these issues of police violence are systemic. We see them as connected to the broader system of oppression within our current criminal "jus

tice" system. We actively oppose mass incarceration, educational apartheid, austerity, and the inhumane treatment of prisoners. We challenge the system of racism, repression and retribution that sustains mass incarceration. We seek to remove the structural injustices inflicted on the incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, their families and the communities from which they came. We aim to end the reign of police terror. We seek human rights for all members of society. Join us every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at Trinity Episcopal (26th & Michigan) @ 7pm in the fight against the New Jim Crow!
