Troy Armstrong created the Troy Armstrong DJ Company on May 25, 2000 and grew his company while working as an on-air radio personality as well as music director from 1987-2020. Troy also serves as a wedding planner, coordinator, and officiant. He has served couples with passion, enthusiasm, and experience in 648 weddings since January 1, 2002 (as of June 10, 2026)! Troy joined the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce to be more involved in our community and to be part of a network that actively supports local business success.

At our June Luncheon today, Carol Harms, Executive Director, and Laura Meredith, Care Coordination Unit Director, Senior Services of Central Illinois, along with Sandy Eisenmann, Senior Elder Care Advisor, Edwards Group, presented on, "How to Support Your Aging Parents." It's a topic that affects many of us, as we try to prioritize work, family responsibilities, while caring for our parents. It truly is a subject that we could devote weeks to and still not cover everything, but the professionals at Senior Services of Central Illinois and the Edwards Group did a phenomenal job! We encourage anyone who is having challenges with, or has questions about, how to support their aging parents, to reach out to Senior Services of Central Illinois. They have a multitude of resources to help you! Finally, thanks to Nelson's Catering of Central Illinois for our delicious lunch, and to Jane Hay Sales and Staging Team at The Real Estate Group, Inc. for hosting our luncheon at her beautiful venue, The View: A Gathering Place!
