Summer Volunteers Needed for Emergency Meal Box Delivery!

As we prepare for the upcoming hurricane season, Senior Services is getting ready to deliver our Summer Emergency Meal Boxes to homebound seniors across the region. These boxes provide critical support during emergencies—and we’re looking for volunteers to help make sure every senior receives theirs.

Delivery Dates:
📅 June 1 – June 12
🕘 Monday through Friday during business hours

This is a simple but meaningful way to help seniors stay prepared and supported during emergencies.

Our Chesapeake Human Services Blood Drive is happening this Thursday, June 4, and we still need your help to reach our goal!

A few days ago, Chesapeake Thrives was proud to participate in the Chesapeake & Virginia Beach Re-Entry Council Job and Resource Fair! It was a wonderful event filled with meaningful connections, valuable resources, and opportunities to support our community.
