First marathon was a doozy. Time to get back to work and hit the next one harder.

Couldn’t have done it without my family support team helping me make sure I change my socks, drink water, and down a few Motrin. Also thankful for all of the students and parents from and pushing me along the way!

I felt the presence of as soon as I crossed the finish saying “Too slow, do it again”

Ball weekend with RS Louisville was a huge win!! Colonel Cohen is an absolute legend, and sushi on the trip home after was phenomenal! It’s almost here. Happy early birthday Marines!

You can’t spell addiction without “add” it to the cart! Baseball and sushi are weekend vices of mine. Also a great reason to get into Cincinnati to see the sister in law. Thankful for everything I’ve worked for 🎉

Working with .86 had ups and downs. I would talk some trash if anyone understood like we do but I am so immensely proud to see him growing into my replacement with a MERITORIOUS promotion! He exceeds expectations in everything he does and sets the standard for everyone coming after. The Corps is in good hands!

So grateful for my loved ones that have supported me through the years!
Today I was promoted to Staff Sergeant and for the first time in my career had all of my immediate family with me. Here is a glimpse at the fun.
Special shout out to both Ryan Riehle and Gunner JC Knight!

Ryan and I deployed together years ago where he pinned me to Sergeant, and we had to make sure we relived the experience.

JC is a retired Marine Gunner that a lot of you know from closer to Kanawha and Putnam. It was an honor to have him as my promoting officer!
