In our ongoing attempts to continue town beautification, we are asking that everyone that uses the white goods pickup service from the county to put their things near the road as close to the pickup time as possible. This is not a mandate. We are wanting us to continue this wonderful cleanup campaign that we're on. Thanks to the community, everything is looking so much better already.

Our distribution team just located a leak on a main line on Claude Posey and Old Lee Hwy. The water will be shut off to the town for the repair. We appreciate your patience as the distribution team works diligently to repair and resolve this issue! We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Cherokee Public Library is now accepting applications from individuals willing to fill a vacancy on our Board of Trustees. This vacancy is a volunteer position and will serve a partial term ending at the end of December 2027. Applications are available at the Cherokee Public Library during regular business hours (10am-4pm Monday-Friday).
