Project Coordinator II

The Opportunity
This position works out of our Cherokee, NC office.
As the Project Coordinator II, you'll be responsible for coordinating and leading various projects for our technology Sales and Operations and for providing administrative support for the President of Kituwah Systems. This role involves a balanced workload of administrative support and project coordination and leading.
To be successful as a Project Coordinator II you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
What You’ll Work On
1. With limited supervision arranges schedules and regulates flow of work within or between organizational units or businesses.
2. With limited supervision arranges schedules and regulates flow of work within or between organizational units or businesses. Checks master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and changes schedule according to projects, work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
3. Responsibilities include all administrative functions of the company: phone calls, calendar management, scheduling travel, processing expense reports, meeting/event planning, creating or modifying business documents, managing correspondence, handling teleconference and mobile phone setups, acting as a liaison for remote project issues.
4. Assists company with projects, including basic project management, basic research, and drafting communications.
5.Uses and understands Microsoft Office Suite and other business-specific software, including the Corporate Travel Web site, document management system, matter management system and employee performance management systems (as applicable).
6.Coordinates and maintains company documents and applications.
7.Follows established coverage and back-up support plans to ensure company support needs are fulfilled.
Position Accountability / Scope:
1. Consistently interacts with a full spectrum of employee levels from hourly technicians through executives.
2. Works with cross-functional teams in connection with projects and to provide company-wide support.
3. Intermediate knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements.
4. Frequently handles confidential or business-sensitive information. Data is typically employee-level or one-dimensional.
5. Maintains and may manage calendars, including meeting and travel scheduling and domestic travel arrangements.
6. Proactively identifies and resolves project and administrative scheduling conflicts.
Required Qualifications
1. Operates with general instruction and some supervision.
2. High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
3. 3-5 years previous admin experience or equivalent.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio a plus
