Monday night is training night! 🚒

This week, members of the Woodland Township Fire Department traveled to the Pemberton Township Fire Department for some hands-on forcible entry training.

Using their door breach simulator, our members practiced different techniques for forcing and breaching doors during emergency situations when quick access can make all the difference.

A big thank you to Pemberton Township Fire Department for having us and allowing us to use their training equipment. We appreciate the opportunity to train together and continue sharpening the skills we may need when the call comes in.

🚒 Monday Night Training & Truck Prep 🚒

Tonight during our weekly Monday night drill, members of the Woodland Township Fire Department performed routine inspections and checks of our fire apparatus to ensure everything is ready to respond when our community needs us.

The majority of the evening was spent organizing and mounting equipment in our new-to-us Rescue 2918. Every tool has a designated place, allowing our firefighters to quickly locate the equipment needed during emergencies. As we continue outfitting the truck, we’re preparing it to handle a wide variety of emergency incidents and specialized rescue assignments throughout Woodland Township and our surrounding communities.

🚨 Holiday Weekend update from Woodland Township Fire Department 🚨

Over the July 4th holiday weekend (7/2–7/5), the members of the Woodland Township Fire Department responded to approximately 21 emergency calls.

Our volunteers answered the call for a wide variety of emergencies, including:
🔥 Multiple residential structure fires
🚗 Motor vehicle accidents
🔥 Vehicle fires
⚡ Wires down and electrical hazards
🚨 Fire alarm activations

Whether it was in our township or assisting our neighboring communities through mutual aid, our members were proud to serve whenever and wherever they were needed.

Do you have what it takes?

We’re always looking for dedicated members to join our team—and you don’t have to be a firefighter to make a difference.

We’re currently looking for:
🚒 Firefighters
🧭 Search & Rescue members
🚁 Drone operators
🤝 Members who want to help with the day-to-day operations of the department, fundraising, events, and supporting our emergency response.

No experience? No problem. We provide the training—you provide the dedication.

🚨 Mutual Aid Response 🚨

Members of the Woodland Township Fire Department are currently operating on a mutual aid assignment in Southampton Township, assisting with a working residential structure fire.

🚒 Tender 2916 is part of the water supply operation, working alongside tenders from neighboring departments to provide a continuous water supply to the scene.

🔥 Engine 2912 and its crew are actively engaged in firefighting operations.

We are proud to stand alongside our neighboring fire departments whenever help is needed. Please keep all crews operating on scene in your thoughts as they work to bring this incident under control.

As always, if you are traveling through the area, please avoid the scene and give emergency personnel the space they need to work safely.

🎅🚒 Santa Ride Is TONIGHT! 🚒🎅

Santa is coming to Woodland TONIGHT starting at 7:00 PM, riding through town with the Woodland Fire & EMS aboard the fire truck!

🎄 We’ll be kicking things off in Lebanon Lakes and making our way throughout the community spreading holiday cheer.

ℹ️ Please note: Due to time and road conditions, we may not be able to travel down every street—especially dirt roads and dead ends. To be sure you don’t miss Santa, residents are encouraged to head to the nearest main road as we pass through. If we’re unable to reach your street, you’re also welcome to meet Santa at the Chatsworth Firehouse, where we will stop for a bit so everyone has a chance to say hello and enjoy the holiday spirit.
